Santo Stefano al Mare

The Rovebella Winery is located in Western Liguria, in the Imperia province, a land with unique climatic, natural and landscape characteristics.

The amazing sea shores and the enchanting mountains of the hinterland represent an exceptional natural, archaeological and historical heritage.

They were inhabited already in the pre-Roman times, and every era is reflected here, from the Roman Empire, to the Saracen Invasions of the 10th Century, passing through the Genoa Maritime Republic and the French Empire in the Napoleonic Period.
Our vineyards are located in the Aregai area, in Santo Stefano al Mare, and are surrounded by a unique and beautiful territory.

Moscatello di Taggia

The Rovebella Wine Company is located behind the Maria degli Aregai tourist harbour, in an enchanting and quiet place, ideal for those who love the outdoors.

From the bicycle path of the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park – which passes right in front of our vineyards – you can admire unique seashore landscapes and historical monuments, like the Saracen Tower.

Here, we enjoy a special microclimate resulting from the harmonious blend between marine and mountain influence, thanks to which our territory has an extraordinary composition which makes it perfect for rare and special varieties.

This is where our Moscatello di Taggia grows and is produced; this wine is named after an historical variety, one of the finest varieties of the Middle Centuries, forgotten for ages.
Today, the Moscatello di Taggia comes back on our tables, with its extraordinary aroma that are typical of this land at the bottom of the mountains and a step away from the sea.
